A long-established store founded in 1874.
The store manufactures and sells all kinds of paulownia products, from paulownia boxes for storing works of art to paulownia chests. Among them, “paulownia wood grain mokumekomi” is popular as ornaments and furnishings for all tastes.
The gorgeous decoration technique of “paulownia mokumekomi” using pure silk fabrics and Saga cotton, which harmonizes the warmth of paulownia wood and fabrics, is the store’s original technique and is unique to Hakoncho, a paulownia craftsman. (There is only one shop in the whole country!)
