The “Asakusa Samba Carnival” has been awarded this year’s Commendation for Excellence by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
On September 19, the Executive Committee visited Mayor Hattori of Taito Ward to report on the award.

All of us involved feel very honored to be honored as this year’s event marks the 40th anniversary. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of you who have supported us.

We will continue to promote the Asakusa Samba Carnival as a place of cultural exchange that connects the region and the world.
